About this game
Dark Hood is a gentle platformer with puzzle touches, starring a small hooded creature that feels most at home when the lights go out. You steer it across 70 shadowy stages, picking up stars and coins on the way to a glowing magic portal at the end of each one.
Nothing here is meant to scare you. The mood is warm and quiet, closer to a bedtime story than a horror game, and the challenge comes from jumping at the right moment and working out how to reach every collectible. Sometimes the best route is not the most obvious one, so it pays to look around before you run for the exit.
It runs in your browser for free and works on phones as well as computers, so you can squeeze in a level or two between other things, or settle in for a longer run through all seventy.
How to play
Use the arrow keys to move left and right and to jump. On a phone or tablet, tap the on-screen buttons instead. Collect the stars and coins, then step into the portal.
