About this game
Gears Of War Platformer is a side-scrolling shooter with the quick, stripped-down feel of an old Flash game. You push through five ruined districts, and the whole job is staying alive long enough to reach the end of each one.
Your kit is a Lancer, a shotgun and grenades, and each one rewards a different style of play. Reloading is timing-based too: nail the active reload and your fire barely pauses, botch it and you are left exposed while enemies close in.
There are no long menus or complicated setups. The game runs free in your browser and works with a mouse click or a tap, so it suits a short break as well as a longer run through all five areas. Expect constant decisions about when to shoot, when to jump and when to reload.
How to play
Control the game with mouse clicks or by tapping the screen. Follow the on-screen prompts, pick the right weapon for each fight and watch your timing when you reload.
