About this game
Glimmer puts you in control of a tiny spark drifting through a world that darkness has almost completely consumed. Your job is to relight the lanterns scattered across each stage, which means threading precise jumps, quick dashes and tricky gaps. Every stage is handcrafted, so the layouts feel deliberate, and the challenge grows steadily as you progress.
The journey is split into four themed chapters, each introducing fresh movement challenges that build on what you already know. Checkpoints are placed generously, and restarting after a mistake takes almost no time, so you can keep pushing forward without losing momentum. Mastering the timing of each jump is the core of the experience.
At the end of the road lies the Sun Lantern, and uncovering the secret behind it is the reward for finishing every chapter. The game runs free in your browser with no installation needed, making it easy to pick up for a short session or to play through in one sitting.
How to play
Move with A and D or the Left and Right arrow keys. Jump with Space, W or Up; hold the button for extra height. Press X or Shift to dash. Pause with Esc or P. On mobile, use the on-screen touch buttons.
