About this game
Gun Thief Auto is a voxel-styled open-world action game that runs right in your browser. You roam a blocky city laid out as a 6x6 grid, taking on mission contracts and slipping away from the police whenever your wanted level starts climbing. Driving and shooting are both central, so you will often be switching between the wheel and your weapons mid-chase.
The game offers two ways to play. Sandbox mode lets you wander freely, test vehicles, and cause whatever chaos you like. Mission mode gives you structured jobs with clear goals, and you have to keep the police from getting too interested while you finish them. Rooftops are accessible too, which opens up different routes and views of the city.
There are more than 15 vehicle classes to try, from sports cars to police cruisers, and an arsenal that includes handguns and RPGs. Over 100 NPC types populate the streets, including civilians, cops, and rival gangs, so the city never feels empty. It is free to play and needs no installation, making it an easy pick for anyone who enjoys open-world sandbox action.
How to play
Move with WASD or the arrow keys, and hold Left Shift to sprint. Press F to enter a vehicle and Spacebar to jump. Left click shoots, right click aims, and you can switch weapons with the number keys 1-3 or the mouse scroll wheel. Press Escape to open the pause menu.
