About this game
Hellgate 1993 is a fast, retro-styled first-person shooter that takes place in a collapsing horror sci-fi facility. As you push through eight hostile worlds, you find hidden passages, open sealed sectors, and pick up heavier weapons. Each world ends with a showdown against a boss, which gives the campaign a steady rhythm of tension and release.
Every world is split into three stages: two combat missions followed by a boss encounter. New enemy types keep showing up, so you need to keep an eye on your health, armor, ammo, keys, and loadout. Searching for stashed supplies, activating terminals, and surviving ambushes are just as important as your aim.
The game runs right in your browser with no download or installation needed. Your goal is to make your way through the dark facility toward the last human signal still transmitting. It is a good pick for players who enjoy old-school shooters and quick, action-packed runs.
How to play
Move with WASD and look with the mouse. Fire with the left mouse button. Press E to use doors, switches, and terminals, and press 1 to 5 or scroll the wheel to switch weapons. On mobile, use the left stick to move and drag on the right side of the screen to aim.
