About this game
Highway Rush Overdrive is an arcade driving game set on a packed city highway. You thread your car through slower traffic, and the goal is simple: stay alive and keep moving faster than the road wants you to.
The scoring rewards nerve. Slipping past a car with barely any space builds a chain of near misses, and each extra close call keeps that chain going. Hold it together and you can trigger Overdrive, which turns the pace up another notch. Playing safe keeps you in one piece, but playing close is where the game pays off.
It runs in your browser for free, and works with a mouse click or a tap, so a quick run on a phone or laptop is easy. Rounds are short, which makes it a good fit for a few spare minutes, yet the chain system gives you a reason to keep trying for a cleaner, longer run.
