About this game
Rope Chef is a cute physics puzzle built around cooking. Ingredients dangle from ropes above a pot, and your job is to snip each one at just the right moment so it swings, bounces or drifts into the cookware. The recipe card at the top of the screen tells you the required order. Nail the sequence and the dish goes out to the table. Drop the wrong item first or miss a cue, and Nibbs, the steamed-bun chef, faints with great drama.
The game runs through 50 bite-sized levels spread across 14 cuisines, starting with Singapore hawker food and touring through Japan, Italy, Mexico, India, Korea, France, the USA, Thailand, the Middle East, China, Vietnam, Spain and Peru. Each region brings its own gimmick, from bounce pads and popping bubbles to fans, moving pots, hot pans, portals and slippery ice.
Every dish can earn up to three stars for serving it, grabbing the bonus spice and beating the par time. Stars unlock new regions, a daily streak keeps you coming back, a ghost line previews a swing before you commit, and a stuck dish can be skipped. It plays on both desktop and mobile browsers.
How to play
On desktop, click or drag across a rope to cut it. On mobile, swipe your finger across a rope. Tap bubbles to pop them. Watch the recipe card at the top and drop the ingredients into the pot in that order.
