About this game
Soccer Rebound mixes a football match with a pinball table. You never run anywhere yourself; instead you guard your own goal with a pair of flippers while a squad of toy players handles the actual footballing, chasing the ball, passing it around and taking shots on their own.
Defense comes first, because every ball that slips past your flippers is a goal against you. Once you have a feel for the timing, you can start playing with angles: bounce the ball off the side rails to wrong-foot the keeper, or flick it up the table to your playmaker and let them finish it first time.
From stage 4 you also get a Bend Shot, which curls your next flip around a defender standing in the way. It runs free in the browser, and a match is short enough to squeeze in between other things, though the urge to go again is hard to resist.
How to play
Use the Left Arrow or A for the left flipper and the Right Arrow or D for the right one. From stage 4, press Up Arrow, W or Space to arm a Bend Shot, then flip. Esc or P pauses and M toggles sound. On mobile, hold the LEFT and RIGHT buttons, and tap BEND before a flip.
