About this game
Squirrel Steps is a puzzle game built around a single question: what is the smartest route for your squirrel? Your goal is to guide it across each board and gather every pine nut hidden there. Before moving, you have to picture the path ahead, since traps wait in the wrong places and the terrain can either help you or box you in.
The rules are easy to learn but the solutions take real thought. Each level asks you to observe the layout, plan several steps at once, and avoid moves that leave a nut out of reach. Players who enjoy sharpening logic and attention to detail will find plenty to chew on, and the challenge grows steadily as the stages get harder.
Chasing high scores is the best reason to return. Once you clear a level, you can try again with a cleaner, more efficient route. Work through the whole collection and see how many stages you can conquer with the fewest wasted steps.
How to play
Move the squirrel with the W, A, S and D keys. Before each step, check where the traps and pine nuts are located. Collect every nut to finish the level.
