About this game
Streets of Rage: Neon District is a 2D side-scrolling street brawler set across neon-lit city blocks. You take control of Rhea or Vale and push through eight chapters, each one drawing you deeper into rival gang territory. Every district ends with a boss fight that tests your timing and patience.
Combat is built around mixing strikes. Chain punches into kicks, launch enemies into the air with aerial attacks, and read enemy wind-ups so you can slip away before they land a hit. Grab foes to throw them across the street, or snatch a weapon from the ground and turn the tide of a messy brawl.
The scenes change as you travel, so each stretch of the city feels distinct. Checkpoints appear between sections, so a rough fight does not force you to restart the whole chapter. Play it for free right in your browser, no download needed.
How to play
Move with WASD or the arrow keys. Press J to punch and K to kick. Use E to grab, throw, or pick up a weapon, L to dodge, Space to jump, and Shift for a quick evade. On mobile, use the on-screen controls.
