About this game
THE LAVA ESCAPE drops you into a scorching 2D world where every step counts. You run and jump across platforms while avoiding lava pits, arrow shooters and sharp spikes that appear the longer you survive. The game is built around quick reactions and careful timing, and each of its 100 levels asks a little more of you than the last.
Bosses are where the pressure really builds. Monsters come in stacked pairs and fire slow but dangerous projectiles that force you to read the screen and find safe openings. Collecting gems along the way lets you unlock new hero skins, giving you a reason to explore every corner of the stages rather than just rushing for the exit.
It runs entirely in the browser, so there is nothing to download or install. Pick it up for a quick session between other tasks or settle in for a longer run to see how far your escape can take you.
How to play
On desktop, use the arrow keys or WASD to move and jump; your character fires weapons automatically. On mobile, tap the on-screen left and right arrows to move and the up arrow to jump.
