About this game
Witchy is a retro vertical shoot 'em up where a young witch and her black cat fly through four magical realms. Waves of monsters pour onto the screen, and each world ends with a boss that tests your reflexes. As you progress, you can power up your spells and release devastating magic bombs when the screen gets crowded.
The story is a simple Halloween adventure: ten amulets have been stolen, and Witchy has to recover every one of them. Each realm brings its own look and enemy types, so the pace keeps shifting from stage to stage. It is a good pick for players who enjoy classic arcade shooters with a cozy, seasonal flavor.
The game runs in your browser for free, with nothing to download. It supports keyboard, touch controls and gamepad, so you can jump in on whatever device you have nearby. Short sessions work well, but chasing a higher score on each run gives it real replay value.
