About this game
Yolk Ops is a first-person arena shooter that turns the fight into a showdown between egg-shaped soldiers. You drop into one of eight 3D maps and try to rack up more eliminations than everyone else on the field. It runs in the browser and is strictly single-player, so every opponent is an AI bot and there is no online matchmaking.
Before each round you pick a mode: Free for All, Team Scramble, or King of the Yolk. Your loadout comes from seven primary weapons and a sidearm, and you can add grenades and pickups scattered around the arena to swing a fight in your favor. The number of bots changes from match to match, which keeps the pace from feeling the same twice, even on a map you already know.
Controls are flexible. You can play with keyboard and mouse, plug in a gamepad, or use touch controls on a phone or tablet. Matches are short, so it works well for a quick break, and learning the layout of each map gives you a real edge over the bots.
