About this game
Gorbo the Orc: Crown Quest is a funny side-scrolling platformer. The Minotaur Warlord has stolen the Tusk Clan's golden crown, and Gorbo sets out to take it back, flattening monsters along the way.
No platformer experience is needed. Early levels teach running, jumping, cleaver swings, the three-hit combo and the throwing axe one at a time. Six worlds hold 48 levels, six bosses and 144 hidden gems. The trip runs from the Whispering Forest to the Volcano Fortress, with archers, wizards, shield bearers, charging bears, ghosts, icicles, fire jets, swinging blades, slippery ice, bounce mushrooms and locked gates along the way.
Combat rewards quick reactions. Slap arrows out of the air, stomp on enemies, or fling your axe so it comes back like a boomerang. Drink a potion when your hearts run low and spend the coins you collect at the merchant. Your progress is saved, so you can leave and finish the quest whenever you like.
How to play
Run with the arrow keys or A and D, and jump with Space, W or the up arrow; hold the button to jump higher. Press X or J to swing the cleaver, tapping fast for a combo. C or L throws the axe, E drinks a potion, and Esc or P pauses. On touch screens, use the on-screen arrow, jump, sword and axe buttons.
